BSNL warns about fake job openings
NEW DELHI: State-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has asked the public to be aware of the fake recruitment news being circulated by fraudulent agencies regarding recruitment in ‘BSNL 4G’ company, it said in a statement Thursday.
The fake notifications, according to the fourth-largest telco, may deceive and mislead the candidates into applying for the job, believing the fake news to be authentic.
BSNL has said that it conducts recruitment basis of BSNL’s standard norms by issuing notifications and intimation on its official website only.
The telco has also warned that it would take no responsibility for losses arising out of funds transfer or cash deposits to the fraudulent agencies.
Lately, there have been reports that fraudsters were posting fake job opening online asking potential candidates to apply.
However, BSNL is yet to get 4G airwaves to commercially launch high-speed data services.
