These prepaid plans by Reliance Jio and Airtel will make working from home easier
Working from home has become the new normal and nobody knows for how long and has to continue doing so. The unprecedented crisis due to coronavirus has crippled the normal life and it might take a while for everything to go back to the way it was. Working from home has its own set of challenges, sometimes your laptop doesn’t function, and sometimes its the internet. However, these plans by Reliance Jio and Airtel will make work from home a seamless affair.
Jio recently announced a series of top-up plans and Airtel too launched a Rs 251 prepaid plan similar to Jio. The top-up plans help in extending the data limit. So here’s have a look at the plans.
Airtel recently added Rs 251 4G voucher plan to its list of prepaid plans. The plan is similar to Jio’s Rs 251 and offers the same benefit. It however doesn’t have a validity period of its own whereas the Jio plan now has it.
Similar to Jio, the plan offers total data of 50GB but the validity of the plan is entirely based on the validity of the existing plan of the user. For instance, if you are active on a monthly plan, your voucher will be active throughout the month but if your existing plan has a validity of 24 days, your 4G voucher plan too will expire in 24 days. The unused data will also expire along with the plan. However, you can avail the complete benefits only if you recharge your number with both the plans on the same day. These plans do not come with any calling or SMS benefits.
Airtel has also doubled the data benefits of one of its existing 4G voucher at Rs 98. The plan now offers a total of 12GB data as opposed to the 6GB data it offered earlier. The validity of this plan as well depends on the existing plan.
When it comes to offering affordable prepaid plans, Reliance Jio seldom disappoints. It recently announced a new series of 4G voucher plans that offer as much as 50GB per data. The plans include Rs 151, Rs 201 and Rs 251
Talking about the plans, the Rs 151 prepaid plan comes with a total of 30GB data. Similarly, the Rs 201 plan provides 40GB internet data. Whereas the Rs 251 comes with 50GB data, similar to Airtel’s newly-launched plan. Jio recently added a validity period of 30 days to the 4G voucher plans as they didn’t have a validity period of their own.
As per OnlyTech, the Jio work from home plans will now valid be 30 days even if the validity of the existing plan ends.
