This is the cheapest BS6 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in India
American automaker Harley-Davidson has updated its entire two-wheeler line-up in India to comply with the upcoming stricter BS6 emission norms that will be mandatory from April 1.
In the updated line-up, the Street 750 arrives as the most affordable Harley motorcycle in the country with a starting price of Rs. 5.34 lakh.
Here’s everything about the Street 750 and the prices of other models.
Harley-Davidson Street 750: At a glance
The BS6 Street 750 retains the design of its BS4 counterpart. It offers a naked street look with a comfortable seating position and gets a blacked-out treatment on mirrors, exhaust, and alloy wheels.
The rounded headlamp, turn indicators, and exposed engine add to its retro look.
The motorcycle also houses a fully-digital instrument console and all-LED fitments for headlight, turn indicators, and tail lamps.
Power and performance
The 2020 Harley-Davidson Street 750 draws power from a 749cc liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
However, the power figures of the updated motor are yet to be revealed. But in its BS4 state of tune, this unit churns out 47bhp of maximum power and 60Nm of peak torque.
Harley-Davidson Street 750: On the road
On the safety front, the Harley-Davidson Street 750 comes equipped with disc brakes on both front and rear wheels, along with dual-channel ABS for better grip on the road.
The suspension duties on the cruiser are taken care of by conventional telescopic forks on the front and a dual-shock unit on the rear.
And, here’s a look at the prices
The BS6-compliant Street 750 range starts at Rs. 5.34 lakh and goes up to Rs. 5.66 lakh. The Street Rod motorcycle, meanwhile, is available at a starting price of Rs. 5.66 lakh.
